Avon Platter

by Monica
(Clinton,KY. usa)

I have an oval 13in. x 9-1/2in platter that has a pink rose pattern with green leaves. It is yellowish in color, and has the word Avon printed on the bottom. I have searched the internet for more info, but I can't find this mark.

I was wondering if it could be the Avon Pottery of Cincinnati, Ohio 1896-1888. I have included photos, and would appreciate your help.
Thanks Monica
