The best book, including backstamps, of pottery made in EastLiverpool, Ohio (which was the pottery center of the U.S.A.) is
East Liverpool Pottery District... by Wm. Gates. I think you can buy it at TheMuseumofCeramics.com in EastLiverpool, OH

witchcraft has nothing to do with the villain. Best Essay Writing Service . It's an earth base religion and most witches (individuals that do into Wicca not call themselves witches) venerate the moon, sun, earth and all that is on the earth. We praise the change of the seasons, conception, growing up, and demise (not creepily) Their is no such thing as dark enchantment or white enchantment on the grounds that nature is both great and insidiousness. The principle rule for witches is Harm none and do what I will. We likewise have a 3 fold law what ever you convey you'll get back 3 times.

1870- 1890 C.C.Thompson &Co. Then it was incorporated:
1890-1938. C.C.Thompson Pottery Co.

The backstamp several of you are trying to date is basically THE backstamp for the first 20 years. (See pottery name in your backstamp.)

After that (when incorporated, under slightly different name:
C C Thompson Pottery Co.) many different backstamps were used, depending on the type of ware, etc.

I bought a piece with the same marking. Would love to know the date of this piece. It is round, fluted at the top, with handles on either side. The handles have a flower on the top. It is about five inches tall and about four inches in diameter.....a decorative container of some sort. It is a creamy color.

I found a yellow serving bowl with the same mark in my attic today. Have you found the year?
