"Colonial" Pottery Mark - discovered on broken dish behind 1890 home

Hi there - hoping to discover more information about the marking on the fragments of dishware found behind my 1890 home in New Bern, NC. Putting in a new and much deeper pond in my backyard and while digging, discovered lots of glass and dinnerware fragments. In the photo there are three pieces that fit together to form a mark that appears to read "COLONIAL" on a banner. The other piece is scalloped with a gold-ish rim and a pink flower that looks like a carnation.
