Horseshoe with L.S.S. and N.Y. under it

I have a beautiful, very large bowl with pink flowers on it. It says it was pat'd Feb'y 24, 14. There is another word that starts out SAD..Y, and a stamp in the porcelain with a vertical oval and the letters JUR, or J&R, or at least that is what it looks like inside the oval. There is also a green F.631

Any info welcome on history, manufacturer, etc.
