ID Pottery Mark - Eagle with U and S over wings of jug (whiskey)

Ran across a 5 gal whiskey jug with a blue makers mark that I can only read a small part.

Mark is blue with eagle that has the letter U on left wing and the letter S on the right wing.

Under eagle there seems to be a shield emblem with a name at top that I can only read part of as it is very hard to read. The name is something such as (liedard or sliedard) last part does seem to be (dard). Under this is a large # 5 .
