Paden City Potter - USA

I have a platter that was my grandmother's. it says The Paden City Pottery Made in USA. Under that there is an " A and i think maybe a 49 or 43. Wondering what the A and number means. I also think this is out of the Rosalee collection

We have a full setting of this pattern, and believe the number on the bottom is A 41. We have found that it was discontinued in 1941 but have not been able to find out much more. We believe this was a great grandmother's set and it has been used but other than a couple of nicks on two of the cups and silverware scratches on the plates, it is remarkable condition.
