Paula Weit or Paula West - Ideas on this Potter?

I just bought a small dish for a dresser not for food. It is a small dark green dish with a lid that has a very large white (3D) flower on it.

On the bottom is a name Paula Weit or Paula West. At first I thought it said Paula Well but I now think that's wrong. It is hard to read.

It looks American. Any idea who make this?
