PHOENIX Pottery Mark - Any info?

I have a vase marked "PHOENIX". Not "PHOENIX POTTERY" and it looks too modern (to be that old). Size = 6" H X 6 3/4" diam.
I have collected pottery for many years and have many books on pottery and marks -- can't find this mark!! I've looked "online" too. Any info will be greatly appreciated. THANKS, JACK.

I have a pitcher & bowl that does say Phoenix Pottery England NEW

I have no idea what my plain white bowl and pitcher is worth, I think it could be 100 yrs old. It says Phoenix Pottery England and has a pheonix on it
