This is a gorgeous piece and so well made, but I'm partial to jugs!
If anyone has any information on this piece of Wright Pottery, in particular the Artist's first name, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Vintage JWright Hand made pottery etched Matt finish, He signs his name exactly like what’s on you piece, he is out of Kentucky, check out his pottery on eBay, look at how he signs & dates it..He signs it Wright & the year he made the piece of pottery..a just saw a piece like yours he made on eBay for $99..Best to you..

Hi, I collect vases & last year picked up one signed exactly like this, I couldn’t find out anything about it so I donated to a friend who sells at the flea market..Good Luck

Jim and Nancy Wright live in Madison County KY. I cannot find a website, I bought a piece from them at the art & craft fair in Berea, KY last month.
I did Google the name and found they do have a phone #.

Upon closer inspection of my piece signed "Wright '71" the "W" looks like it's also a "J" so I Googled J. Wright Pottery and there is a potter in Kentucky that uses the same colors in his other pieces. What I can't find is his signature! Please update if you find out!

I bought several pieces of art pottery with the same signature and similar dates at a nice estate auction in southern (Santa Claus) Indiana. Where did everyone get their pieces?
I think there is a Wright pottery in KY?
