Stoneware Jug - Cobalt Blue Eagle stamp

My buddy (fishing buddy) has got a jug with a cobalt stamp with an eagle with a name just below it that I can't read but over the eagle are U to the left and an S over to the right. I cannot find any info on it. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

US eagle crock maker's mark NEW

Did you ever find out anything about your fishing buddy's jug? I have a 20 gallon crock that I can not find anything about the maker's Mark which is extremely close to the one shown. The Mark on mine is black and not cobalt blue. Your friend's is as close as I have been able to find. Any info would be appreciated. My email is jharp@brandywineagency.com. thank you...
