Tree in a Square pottery mark

by Paul
(Washington, DC)

I have a set of Blue dishes the are dipped 3 ways so when you look in the bowl there are 3 rectangles. It also has a pottery mark that is a square with a tree inside then has 2 letters one on each side a u and I think a l. Then on the bottom it has a half circkle with 2 more letters. Can someone help me Identify this as it was my mother-in-law's.

Found the artist NEW

After more research, I found the artist of your pottery. Please read this link that informs you of Iron Mountain Stoneware of Tennessee and Nancy Patterson Lamb.

I have something similar NEW
by: Cindy

I have a brown and gray pitcher with green trees with similar marks. The tree in a square is on top. Right underneath is clearly "USA". Underneath that is a symbol or letters unrecognizable but I can only describe it as a wavy mountain with 3 rounded peaks and a small animal at the base. I would appreciate any information as to the artist. The design reminds me of the artist Clarice Cliff, although the colors are not. I believed she mainly used primary colors and these are earth tones.
